About the Role
Quvia is seeking a Solutions Engineer. The Solutions Engineer will interface with customers and identify their needs. A Solutions Engineer will work with various Quvia departments from network engineers to support and operations ensuring a plan is in motion to improve the customers experience. The position requires high-level thinking to architect solutions across a variety of hardware along with low-level programming skills and a passion for focusing and committing.

What Youll Do
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
- Oversee the installation configuration and testing of Quvia systems on maritime verticals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales product management and service delivery to ensure successful project execution.
What Youll Need
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in satellite communications with a focus on maritime.
- Strong understanding of satellite communication systems including VSAT L-band and Ku-band technologies.
- Proficiency in networking concepts IP routing and RF engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
