Description***2nd Shift***
Come join our 2nd Shift Team as a Service and Calibration Operator! As an operator in our service/calibration lab you will test a variety of Biomedical devices in a traceable and accredited laboratory. We maintain our focus on high quality for our customers and meeting our turn around time metrics. We are a team who values cross-training collaboration and growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate & test electromechanical biomedical devices following a procedure and utilizing various test equipment including Digital Multimeters Current and Pressure Sources Oscilloscopes Calibrators etc.
- Install hardware and software updates as required per Product Change Notifications.
- Perform administrative duties as required to maintain process flow: updating Oracle order status entering service notes generating reports etc.
- Abide by ISO 9001 ISO 13485 and ISO 17025 requirements.
Requirements:
- High level of comfortability working with computers including opening applications navigating web tools printing reports etc.
- Experience with oscilloscopes multimeters and other bench-top test equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to match up colors and follow diagrams for test lead/wiring connections. Occasional assembly of small pieces required during hardware repair work.
- Good communication skills you will regularly collaborate with customer service order processing and Engineering team members.
- Available to work 5:00AM 3:30PM with overtime when customer demand requires.
- Occasional heavy lifting or movement of objects up to 30 lbs and repetitive use of upper extremities and standing for extended periods.
- Proficient in reading and speaking English in order to understand oral or written safety information assembly instructions and supervisory direction.
Behaviors:
- Experience with electronic calibration/testing preferred but ability to be trained and learn rapidly is a must.
- Comfortable working independently once trained and escalating issues as necessary.
- Attention to detail to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
