Job Summary

We are working closely with a school who are recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Office Cover Administrator to join a specialist SEN setting in Milton Keynes starting this March. This is a vital role within a school that provides a tailored therapeutic education for pupils with complex needs.

About the Role This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 8 am 4 pm (Term time only).

  • Act as the primary point of contact for parents transport providers and healthcare professionals.

  • Manage daily attendance data specifically tracking student arrivals and medical appointments.

  • Provide administrative support to the SENCO including the preparation of EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) documentation.

  • Handle sensitive enquiries with empathy ensuring a calm environment for pupils who may visit the office.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an educational office environment (SEN experience is highly desirable).

  • A human-like patient approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
