The successful Food Technology Teacher will deliver engaging and practical lessons across KS3KS5 with the opportunity to teach GCSE and A Level Food Preparation & Nutrition depending on experience. You will plan and deliver hands-on skills-based lessons that develop students understanding of nutrition food science health safety and practical cookery techniques.

The school is seeking a practitioner who can inspire creativity independence and confidence in the kitchen while maintaining high standards of organisation and safety. A passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and real-world learning is essential.

Experience and Qualifications

QTS/PGCE and a degree in Food Technology Hospitality Nutrition or a related discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Food Technology desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety nutrition and practical kitchen management
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to co-curricular involvement and holistic education
