About the Role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5. You will play a key role in maintaining the departments excellent academic outcomes teaching motivated pupils who demonstrate strong engagement and positive behaviour.

The successful candidate will primarily teach Biology at GCSE and A Level while contributing to the wider Science curriculum at KS3. Teaching is designed to develop scientific enquiry analytical thinking and a deep understanding of biological processes through practical investigation and research-informed pedagogy.

Experience and Qualifications

Ability to teach Biology across KS3KS5
Degree in Biology or a related Science discipline
PGCE/QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong practical laboratory skills and understanding of health & safety
Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for biological sciences
Legal right to work in the UK
