The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with performance composition and coursework
Leading or contributing to choirs ensembles and school productions
Encouraging creativity confidence and musical expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge in performance theory and composition
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
