The Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and direction for day-to-day field operations of the assigned projects direct and ensure field execution plan the company way to maximize overall business objectives and ensure maximum profitability. Specific responsibilities include:Maintains a safe and secure work environment through maintaining safety meetings incident investigations and employee key leadership direction for field operations on a project to ensure a cohesive team in conjunction with project and supervises all construction field personnel priorities relating to technical ability and staffing levels to gain greater efficiencies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost. Includes working with business unit manager and operations manager to coordinate hiring of local staff conducting performance review recommending salary changes and resolving internal personnel for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully completing the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site material take-offs order tools material and of installation between trades and coordinating subcontractor all on-site employee comply with OSHA standards and company work equipment deliveries with General Contractor and periodic inspections by governing compliance with state local and federal legal the quality of work to corporate standards and project Staff Meetings Foreman and field personnel addressing management issues as well as safety and productivity for projects financial labor material and other cost type budgets and with project team to make certain start-up and commissioning is executed in accordance with company and project in coordinating and quality assurance of drafting resources and fabrication/manufacturing on the company FIELD Productivity Improvements assure project compliance and quality Customer Satisfaction. Required Education Experience and Qualifications:5 years verifiable experience as a Plumbing Superintendent and state plumbing least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($20M) commercial construction (hospitals high rise hotels casinos office buildings etc.).Must have med-gas least 6 months of safety verbal and written communication -oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced in the industry and the Companys to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. Travel Requirements:0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location. Physical/Work Environment Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a in a stationary position often kneeling standing or sitting for prolonged motions that may include the wrists hands and/or work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
