Qualifications/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required.
Associates or Bachelors degree in business administration communications public administration or related field preferred.

A successful background check is required.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information. Proficiency in Google Workspace and other communication tools is required as is the ability to manage complex processes with accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills fostering positive relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with school board processes and public meeting requirements is preferred along with the flexibility to adapt to changing demands and interruptions in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Tasks:
The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent provides high-level administrative organizational and communication support to the Superintendent and School Board ensuring smooth operations and effective coordination across the district. This role manages calendars meetings correspondence and sensitive information with discretion supports School Board processes and compliance and collaborates with the Communications Team to maintain clear consistent messaging. The Executive Assistant helps align priorities fosters positive relationships with staff leadership Board members and the community and contributes to the implementation of Superintendent and Board initiatives. Hours Per Day:

Full-time position12 months per year.

Includes occasional evening and weekend duties.

Current pay rate per 25-26Terms and Conditions.

Starting July 1st salary will increase in accordance with a new Terms and Conditions agreement.
