Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on reliable technician to support daily operations through a dual role covering warehouse activities (receiving picking stock control) and plant facilities tasks (first-level preventive/corrective maintenance routine inspections and coordination with external vendors). The goal is to ensure smooth material flow and safe well-maintained facilities while following quality and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
A) Warehouse Responsibilities
- Goods In: Recepction unload check quantities/condition register in the system and store in assigned locations
- Reports and material notification creation in case of missalignment with expectations.
- Prepare and deliver materials to production/plant areas: picking packing labeling and dispatching
- Maintain warehouse inventory accurate: cycle counts stock reconciliation traceability and issue resolution
- Manage documentation: delivery notes inbound/outbound records returns and filing.
- Ensure warehouse organization and housekeeping (5S) proper storage practices and clear labeling
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks stackers forklifts if certified)
B) Plant Facilities Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of site facilities (basic electrical lighting plumbing HVAC compressed air etc.)
- Execute first-level preventive maintenance: checks lubrication filter replacement minor repairs and cleaning tasks
- Support corrective maintenance by troubleshooting basic issues and escalating when required
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors/vendors on-site (access safety briefings work permits follow-up)
- Maintain maintenance logs checklists and documentation (work orders interventions spare parts used)
- Independence to create reports and collaborate in defining processes for the operations department
- Ensure compliance with EHS rules (LOTO where applicable) report hazards and support continuous improvement
- Assist with small installation projects layout changes and basic facility improvements as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills
- CFGS or Technical degree in Maintenance Electricity Mechanical Industrial Facilities or similar
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or plant maintenance/facilities environment (multi-skilled profile preferred)
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and safe use of hand and power tools.
- Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations (ERP/WMS experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid B drivers license is a must
- Forklift license/certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain it)
- Skills to write and speak fluent English will be highly valued
- Dynamic individual able to handle multiple tasks in parallel while understanding the departments priorities
- Ability to understand and learn about new facilities within the company
- Flexibility to be able to work at two locations withing Tenerife Island (La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
