This is a 9 Month Contract based in our Bilbao office. It is a temporary position supporting our finance team as one of the team members supports an internal project.
As an Accounts Technician you will play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Youll support daily accounting processes maintain accurate records and ensure everything we do aligns with internal procedures and legal requirements. Working closely with the Financial Controller youll contribute directly to the reliability and integrity of the financial information that guides decisionmaking across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily accounting entries including invoicing payments collections and journals ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update vendor and customer data within the ERP system safeguarding data integrity.
- Prepare and submit payment information to the bank supporting treasury operations.
- Manage customer credit requests with external insurance providers and follow up on approvals.
- Update and maintain the companys order book and other financial records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls DOA guidelines accounting procedures and dataprotection regulations.
- Support ERP maintenance and data reliability ensuring consistent and updated financial information.
- Identify and propose process improvements across accounting and administrative workflows.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Finance or Economics.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (any platform).
- Advanced English level.
- Strong accuracy attention to detail and reliability in data handling.
- Clear confident communication skills across all departments.
- Collaborative mindset comfortable working in crossfunctional teams.
- Integrity discretion and a strong sense of responsibility.
