has a client in need of an IT Resource Manager Consultant in Boston MA.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the PMO to manage intake and prioritize IT requests based on patient safety regulatory needs and ROI
- Maintain the demand forecast of upcoming projects maintenance work and IT resource needs
- Model labor and capital requirements with IT leaders to support incoming demand.
- Allocate IT resources to projects based on skills availability and priority
- Analyze capacity and capability to ensure the right skills are available (e.g. Epic HL7)
- Track utilization and burn rates to prevent over-allocation and reduce risk and turnover
- Identify skill gaps and training needs in partnership with HR and IT leadership
Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree * 5 years in IT Resource Management Workforce Planning or a Project Management Office (PMO) role * Understanding of IT operations including on-call support models and specialized application skill sets * Proficiency with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g. ServiceNow Workfront Smartsheet) to track labor hours and resource allocation * Ability to assess team capacity identifying overutilization and available bench time
