has a client in need of an IT Resource Manager Consultant in Boston MA.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the PMO to manage intake and prioritize IT requests based on patient safety regulatory needs and ROI
Maintain the demand forecast of upcoming projects maintenance work and IT resource needs
Model labor and capital requirements with IT leaders to support incoming demand.
Allocate IT resources to projects based on skills availability and priority
Analyze capacity and capability to ensure the right skills are available (e.g. Epic HL7)
Track utilization and burn rates to prevent over-allocation and reduce risk and turnover
Identify skill gaps and training needs in partnership with HR and IT leadership

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree * 5 years in IT Resource Management Workforce Planning or a Project Management Office (PMO) role * Understanding of IT operations including on-call support models and specialized application skill sets * Proficiency with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g. ServiceNow Workfront Smartsheet) to track labor hours and resource allocation * Ability to assess team capacity identifying overutilization and available bench time
