Job Title: Business Analyst Shadow System / Post-Trade Operations

Location: Onsite Long Island & Newark
Engagement: Contract to Hire
Experience: 5 7 Years
Education: BA/BS required (MBA a plus)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with proven experience in Shadow Systems and post-trade reconciliation to support operational workflows system enhancements and business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business requirements related to Shadow Systems
Support post-trade reconciliation workflows and exception management
Partner with Operations Technology and SMEs to translate business needs into functional requirements
Create process flows BRDs FRDs and gap analysis documentation
Support UAT planning execution and defect tracking
Assist with system enhancements reporting and operational improvements
Ensure solutions align with regulatory compliance and audit standards

Required Qualifications

5 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services
Hands-on experience with Shadow Systems (must have)
Strong understanding of post-trade reconciliation processes (must have)
Experience working closely with operations and technology teams
Strong analytical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with capital markets or investment banking operations
Knowledge of trade lifecycle and settlement processes
MBA preferred
