Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide medical-surgical level care to adult patients (18) in an acute care setting. This contract role requires strong clinical skills flexibility with scheduling and the ability to float to other units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive med-surg nursing care to adult patients
Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
Manage patients with wound vacs chest tubes and other acute care equipment
Document patient care accurately using the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe effective patient care
Float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units as required
Adhere to infection control safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements

Active State RN license (must be valid by assignment start)
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg or higher-acuity experience
BLS required
ACLS preferred
Ability to work variable shifts and days with no guarantee of shift preference
