Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders to help improve functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech language cognitive and swallowing evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapy for dysphagia speech voice fluency and communication disorders

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

  • Document evaluations treatments and patient outcomes accurately and timely

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home strategies

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered goals

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active State Speech-Language Pathologist license (must be current)

  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

  • Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered

  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
