Job Summary

The Marketing Automation & Operations team is undergoing a transformational change and as a result we are looking for a seasoned Marketing Operations Manager to join the team.

The Marketing Automation & Operations team sits within the Digital & Marketing Sciences function and supports our demand marketing efforts globally.

The successful candidate will be supporting the management of fundamental marketing operations initiatives maintaining order within our marketing automation platform (Marketo) as well manage our third-party integrations ensuring that the marketing automation engine is well-oiled and running effectively.

The ideal candidate should be both a problem-finder and problem-solver data-driven and process-orientated all whilst appreciating the flexibility and agility required to support a global marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management and maintenance of our lead scoring and lifecycle models and making updates where necessary
  • Managing and maintaining our segmentation to ensure both reporting and personalization can be leveraged by our marketers
  • Maintaining and updating our global marketing smart lists
  • Managing and maintaining the programs channels and tags ensuring they continuously align to our marketing efforts
  • Setting up testing and maintaining our third-party integrations including troubleshooting any sync or data errors
  • Creating and updating global web forms whilst collaborating with the Web team for testing and deployment
  • Developing and maintaining program templates (playbooks) for the Marketing Automation team to leverage when building out campaigns
  • Collaborating with the Digital & Marketing Sciences function as well as working directly and independently with stakeholders across Demand Gen Sales Operations Salesforce Admins and IT
  • Creating and updating documentation for all core Marketing Automation & Operations initiatives ensuring our teams have a reference point for a high level understanding and can drill-down into the specifics if required
  • Ensure that all relevant data points are captured during marketing execution to properly track ROI

Experience

  • 4 years of Marketo experience (Marketo Certified Expert preferred)
    *Please note that Marketo experience which is limited to program and campaign setup email creation/execution or reporting will not be adequate for this role*
  • Understanding and application of Marketo-specific functionality (such as tokens and complex logic associated with triggers and filters)
  • Comprehensive experience setting up and/or managing marketing operations initiatives including
    - Lead Scoring
    - Lifecycle
    - Data Hygiene & Standardization etc.
  • Experience setting up third-party integrations through Launchpoint or Custom API Integrations
  • Understanding of Salesforce such as its core functionality and the lead contact and campaign objects
  • HTML experience preferred but not required though a general understanding of the basics is required
  • Experience using ABM platforms like Demandbase and leveraging automation functionality is a plus
  • Experience managing projects with a knowledge of how to use project management and collaboration tools (such as Asana) required
  • Experience with training and/or documenting processes and workflows preferred
