Job Summary
Title: Business Analyst Advanced
Location: Columbia South Carolina 29201
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Location: Fully onsite until the candidate is eligible for telecommuting two days per week after 3 months and certain project milestones being met.
Required Skills:
-
A bachelors degree in computer science or a related area and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis

5 years of experience with government IT projects as a Business Analyst or in related roles

5 years of experience eliciting analyzing and documenting business rules processes and requirements

1 years of hands-on experience with the system development life cycle (SDLC)

1 years of experience with SQL databases
Preferred Skills:

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications such as CBAP or CCBA
-
PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) certification

1 years of experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office products
