Overview

We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to provide financial and budgetary support for DoD/Army programs. This role requires hands-on expertise with Army financial systems and the ability to analyze present and manage complex budget data in a fast-paced government environment. The position is fully onsite in Huntsville AL.

Key Responsibilities

Perform budget analysis and financial management in support of Army programs
Develop analyze and present budget execution data to government and internal stakeholders
Utilize GFEBS and Army LMP to manage track and report financial data
Support planning forecasting and execution of program budgets
Prepare briefings dashboards and reports to communicate financial status and trends
Apply strong analytical skills to identify issues risks and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial support

Required Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance
U.S. citizenship (customer requirement)
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
10 years of relevant budget/financial analysis experience
- A Masters degree may substitute for one year of experience
Highly proficient in GFEBS and Army LMP financial systems
Strong analytical presentation and communication skills
Proactive self-starter mindset with strong organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power BI Power Query dashboarding or data visualization tools
