Job Summary
CK Group are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a materials and polymers manufacturing company at their site based in Ware. Your normal working day will be from 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri.

The Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Supervise and control QC database
- Instructing laboratory personnel to perform QC Testing / R&D work.
- Leading R&D functions and new product developments.
- Handling complaint investigation and reporting.
- Participating in meetings with customers and/or potential customers to progress R&D collaborations complaint investigation etc.
- Have overall responsibility for the technical file within the Quality Management Systems (QMS) (ISO 13485 Medical Device Directive/Regulations)
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- PhD Degree level qualification in Chemistry
- Previous experience within polymer industry especially photopolymer chemistry preferable.
- Previous Environmental / QMS experience desirable
- Sound Knowledge of chemical H&S ideally supported with formal qualification.
- Understanding/experience with Quality Management System requirements within a highly regulated industry.
