DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Manager on a 12-month contract to join the Pacific PMO team and support the local (ANZ) implementation of a global claims programme.
This role is focused on ensuring local delivery activities are planned coordinated and progressed providing clear visibility of project status to local stakeholders and working closely with the Global Project Team to support overall delivery. The role works closely with local Claims teams the Pacific PMO and the Global Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the claims solution.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
Local Delivery & Coordination
- Support the delivery of the local implementation of a global claims project ensuring local activities and deliverables are progressed as planned
- Coordinate local tasks inputs and dependencies across Claims Operations IT and other stakeholders
- Track local milestones actions and deliverables and follow up to ensure timely completion
Project Visibility & Reporting
- Maintain a clear view of local project progress risks issues and dependencies and escalate through PMO and governance channels as required
- Provide regular project updates and a consolidated view of local status to the Pacific PMO and local stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with local Claims teams to ensure operational considerations and business requirements are understood
- Support stakeholder meetings workshops and communications
- Work closely with the Global Project Team to support delivery activities and ensure local inputs are provided on time
- Act as a coordination point between local teams and the Global Project Team
- Support alignment of local activities with global timelines and delivery expectations
Delivery & Go-Live Support
- Support business readiness activities including process updates training coordination and user engagement
- Assist with go-live preparation cutover activities and transition to BAU
- Support post-implementation activities and handover to operational teams

- Experience supporting project delivery ideally within insurance or financial services
- Exposure to insurance and claims processes
- Strong organisational communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a delivery environment
