This Solution Architect will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of integration solutions ensuring interoperability between core clinical systems and the broader suite of corporate devices and digital technologies across WA Health
Qualifications :
Relationship Management
- Partner with Program Delivery and ICT operational teams on business and information planning to ensure systems-related agency goals are met.
- Provide technical input into disaster recovery planning including the maintenance and testing of systems.
- Liaises with external stakeholders on application development and support within a multi-organisational access environment.
Client Development and Management
- Act as the key liaison between applications internal and external clients and service providers.
- Maintain effective client engagement relating to the application environment contributing to customerfocused ICT solution strategies.
- Liaises with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to support solution outcomes.
Planning Projects and Policy
- Contributes to the development of policies standards guidelines procedures concepts artefacts and methodologies for technical application development.
- Designs plans and implements information management projects within the Program portfolio.
Value Delivery
- Monitors client service levels to ensure high quality outcomes are achieved.
- Develop and present appropriate solution options for client consideration.
Key Selection Criteria
Strategic Roadmap Development: Extensive experience in architecting comprehensive end-to-end Program Roadmaps that align technical evolution with long-term organizational strategy.
Proven Delivery at Scale: A track record of successfully delivering high-impact engagements of similar scale technical depth and organizational complexity.
Clinical Systems Expertise: Deep operational knowledge of mission-critical health care systems (e.g. EHR PAS LIS) with a strong preference for candidates who understand the nuances of a 24/7 clinical environment.
Stakeholder Influence & Momentum: Sophisticated relationship management skills utilizing corporate insight and political acumen to maintain program momentum and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholder groups.
Advanced Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate complex outcomes and influence high-level decision-makers.
Dynamic Priority Management: Elite time-management capabilities with the agility to navigate competing high-pressure priorities while delivering measurable high-quality results.
Cross-Disciplinary Literacy: A holistic understanding of adjacent IT domains including Project Management (Agile/Waterfall) Change Management and IT Service Management (ITIL).
Architectural Mastery: Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Solution Architecture ideally matured within a complex health services or public sector landscape.
Framework Governance: Highly developed command of Enterprise and Solution Architecture frameworks including the ability to tailor methodologies and embed risk management into technical designs.
Professional Credentials: Formal certification in industry-standard frameworks such as TOGAF Zachman or ArchiMate.
