Designation (Role in organization) - Finance Manager
Primary Role - Finance Manager
Reporting to - Director /COO
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Ownership Accounting Review & Compliance
Oversee accounting operations including GL AP AR fi xed assets and inventory accounting. Ensure accuracy of Monthly books of accounts Provisions and accruals Inventory valuation and cost entries.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual fi nancial statements are prepared and submitted.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including: Companies Act Income Tax GSTTDSAudits (Statutory Internal Cost GST)
Financial Analysis MIS & Decision Support
Prepare and present monthly MIS including:
P&L with explanations Cost trends and expense vs. budget analysis
Provide clear actionable insights to management on Cost leakages Cost-saving opportunities Profi tability by product / job / customer (as applicable)
Convert accounting data into management-level decision inputs
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Manage cash fl ows working capital and fund requirements.
Oversee banking relationships credit facilities and limits.
Ensure timely collections and optimized payment cycles.
Financial Planning Budgeting & Control
Lead annual budgeting forecasting and fi nancial planning processes.
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances with corrective actions.
Ensure eff ective cost control productivity improvement and margin enhancement.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
Establish and monitor strong internal controls and SOPs.
Identify fi nancial operational and compliance risks and mitigate them.
Ensure fraud prevention and fi nancial discipline across the organization.
Required Qualifi cations:
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance)
12-20 years of relevant experience preferably in manufacturing / industrial sector
Experience in handling audits banking taxation and board-level reporting
Preferred Attributes:
