An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager Media Planning and Services to join Visit Victorias Destination Marketing team.
In this influential role youll be responsible for the planning management and delivery of Visit Victorias paid media activity across traditional and digital channels. Working closely with internal teams media agency and external media partners youll ensure our campaigns are consumer-led data-informed and deliver strong performance.
This role suits a strategic thinker who enjoys balancing big picture planning with hands-on delivery.
Key responsibilities
Lead the planning and delivery of integrated paid media campaigns across domestic and international markets
Provide specialist advice on paid media strategy performance optimisation budget management and reconciliation
Manage relationships with media agencies and media owners including ongoing performance management
Evaluate media and advertising opportunities and provide clear evidence-based recommendations
Provide high-level advice on media trends competitor activity and emerging opportunities
Prepare briefings reports Board papers and presentations related to media and campaign activity
Ensure media activity aligns with Victorian Government advertising requirements and processes
About you
Youre a confident and collaborative media professional with strong strategic capability and a deep understanding of integrated media planning and delivery.
Youll bring:
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering large-scale integrated media campaigns
Strong understanding of traditional and digital media channels performance metrics and optimisation
Proven experience managing agency and media partner relationships
High-level planning project management and budget management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare high-quality briefs and presentations
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset
Experience working within or knowledge of Victorian Government advertising processes (desirable)
Experience speaking a language other than English will be viewed favourably.
