The Parts Purchasing Representative is responsible for managing daily purchasing activities including ordering parts processing purchase orders coordinating with vendors and resolving receiving discrepancies for a local appliance parts supplier . This role ensures timely and accurate procurement while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and suppliers.
Pay Rate:$20.00 hourly
Schedule:Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Near Gardendale TX
Process and enter purchase orders acknowledgements and local orders
Place orders for parts requested by sales representatives and service technicians
Communicate with manufacturers regarding back orders pricing updates and shipping issues
Monitor and run open order and backorder reports
Resolve discrepancies related to overages shortages or damaged goods
Audit branch receipts and maintain accurate documentation in the system
Update pricing information and maintain organized purchasing records
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum of 2 years of purchasing and/or receiving experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Basic math and analytical skills
