A leading European manufacturer of cable containment and electrical infrastructure solutions is looking for an experiencedBusinessDevelopment Manager to drive growth across European markets from a UK base. The business is well established invests heavily in product development and offers strong technical backing and long-term career progression.

The opportunity
You will take ownership of developing new business and growing key accounts for a portfolio of cable containment and related solutions used in highintegrity electrical installations. The role focuses on missioncritical environments including:

  • Data centres and cloud infrastructure projects across Europe.
  • Commercial buildings and large realestate developments.
  • Industrial projects utilities and infrastructure schemes.
  • Energy nuclear and other regulated environments where reliability is essential.

Working from a UK base (ideally accessible to major transport hubs) you will manage the full sales cycle from specification through to order working closely with internal sales technical and operations teams while travelling regularly into mainland Europe.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify develop and secure new project opportunities across mainland Europe with particular focus on Germany and neighbouring markets.
  • Leverage and expand your existing network across data centres commercial construction industrial projects nuclear and other complex environments.
  • Build strong relationships across the electrical supply chain contractors consultants specifiers OEMs and major electrical wholesalers.
  • Promote technicallyled solutions via site visits design-stage engagement and presentations to project stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and upcoming projects to position the range for specification and approval at a European level.

About you

  • Proven track record in business development or technical sales within cable containment electrical installation or closely related industrial products.
  • Experience working with European customers and projects ideally including Germany and other DACH or Northern European markets.
  • Comfortable working with electrical contractors wholesalers consultants and endclients on complex multistakeholder projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and standards in highreliability environments.
  • Willing to travel regularly throughout mainland Europe from a UK base.
  • Fluent English with German or another European language a strong advantage.
