This is a hands-on position where you will design and build extremely scalable components and features for Amazons PXT reporting platform while helping formulate strategy and direction for data processing across the organization. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with internal customers and senior leadership to help them derive maximum value from people analytics.

Key job responsibilities
* Staying current with the constantly evolving data processing data lake and people analytics technology landscape
* Translating complex functional and technical requirements from stakeholders into detailed architecture and design solutions
* Delivering high-quality PXT reporting solutions and features on schedule to support critical business decisions
* Maintaining technical expertise to keep pace with rapidly changing technology and collaborating with the team to evaluate and integrate new technologies that enhance our people data capabilities
* Raise the bar on code quality including security readability consistency maintainability.

A day in the life
As an SDE on the team you will be responsible for creating scalable solutions to facilitate dataset onboarding access control metadata management data preprocessing/modeling workflows. You will help define and implement the end-to-end governance model to ensure secure access to PXT data adherence to privacy regulations and centralized auditing.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
