The Opportunity
Our Coupled Pickle Cold Mill (CPCM) team at our Springhill Manufacturing facility is looking for a CPCM Operations Coordinator. As part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio the CPCM team delivers superior steel products including leading to COLORBOND ZINCALUME and innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
As the CPCM Operations Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations by coordinating workflows monitoring production activities and enabling safe reliable and efficient plant performance. Working closely with operational teams and leaders youll lead product and process improvement projects training and development whilst championing a safety-first culture. As a step-up CPCM Operations Manager youll direct the day-to-day operations ensuring your team is focused on the delivery of exceptional performance.
What Will You Do
Supporting the Operations Manager youll lead targeted activities to optimise operations efficiencies providing continuous improvement within the CPCM team. You will also:
- actively contribute to a safe working environment and strong safety culture
- coordinate daily operational activities to support production targets
- deliver continuous improvement initiatives through the capture and analysis of loss data
- manage priorities to ensure tasks and activities are completed efficiently
- provide proactive operational support and coaching to teams and Team Leaders as required
