Amazon Hose is looking for a driven Account Manager to grow and support a defined territory in Stockton CA and surrounding areas. This is a true relationship-based industrial sales roleowning your territory building trust with customers and becoming their go-to partner for hose and fitting solutions.
Essential Functions
- Own and grow a defined sales territory managing both existing customers and new prospects
- Build strong long-term relationships by understanding customer applications and solving real problems
- Prospect for new business through cold calls referrals and face-to-face sales visits
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan in partnership with leadership
- Apply your hose and fittings expertise to accurately specify products and support customer orders
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Sell responsibly and profitably meeting gross margin expectations
- Use CRM and sales tools to plan your time manage opportunities and track territory performance
- Be visible and responsive by communicating with customers in person by phone and via email
Experience Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred
- 3 years of industrial sales experience (hose & fittings experience strongly preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of industrial hose fittings and related applications
- A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced territory-based role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint) and CRM systems
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout the territory (occasional overnight travel)
