Job Summary
We are seeking a Vet Nurse to join our team on a Part-Time Basis!
Findon Vet Surgery located in the western suburbs of Adelaide has been serving the community since 1991! Housed in a beautifully renovated building that was once a medical clinic our hospital is not only highly functional but also a welcoming and pleasant place to work. Key responsibilities:
- Part-time role 25 hours a week
- Undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and post-operative care animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborating with the vet team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties and customer service
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A calm and friendly presence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
