Overview
The Onboarding Specialist manages the onboarding process for all PharMerica positions. She/he performs various tasks including data entry scheduling background checks pre-employment testing and monitoring of employee files in a fast-paced dynamic environment. She/he will possess excellent customer service judgment and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and ensure a positive candidate / new hire experience for all new hires including nurses into the home health line of business focusing on clinical hires
- Coordinate all communication between hiring team and candidates (HR Team Hiring Manager Talent Acquisition Team and Candidates)
- Support candidates through hiring paperwork and onboarding process to ensure seamless simple process for candidates including offer letters background checks MVR reference checks
- Provide education and information to new hires to ensure a positive onboarding and engagement experience
- Be the expert on onboarding systems and tools including the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Understand and ensure accurate system input of new hires
- Show a heightened sense of urgency to get candidates on board extremely responsive to candidate needs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent related experience
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative support or recruiting
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong presentation and written communication skills with an attention to detail
- Experience in establishing high standards of service delivery to customers and clients
- Knowledge of HR and EEOC policies is helpful
- Ability to react quickly and with a sense of urgency to requests issues e-mails or other events in a timely and flexible fashion
