What youll do
The ideal candidate will be a patient calm and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor their approach to meet the clients unique needs. They will be observant safety-conscious and capable of providing close supervision in the community to ensure the clients well-being at all times.
Compassion professionalism and the ability to maintain clear boundaries are essential particularly when managing challenging behaviours or navigating sensitive topics. Reliability and consistency are key offering structure and reassurance while remaining confident in responding to medical emergencies such as seizures.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are also vital enabling effective collaboration with the clients mother and the wider care team to ensure high-quality consistent care within the agreed home environment.
