Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Uniform System (USALI) standards.
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements company policies and international accounting principles.
Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable receivable payroll general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor and analyze budget variances.
Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
Maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
Participate in cost control initiatives providing insights to improve profitability.
Oversee the month-end closing process and ensure timely submission of reports to head office.
Train and guide junior finance team members to maintain a high standard of accounting practices.
Qualifications :
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Additional certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of business acumen
- Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and relevant financial and accounting reporting systems
- Fully conversant in accounting principles and financial regulation standards
