The Finance Director for Infrastructure will serve as a strategic finance leader overseeing financial operations for a $180M revenue division with a national footprint of recently acquired entities.
Reporting to the US CFO with a dotted-line relationship to operations leadership this position will manage an accounting team at the primary acquired entity while supporting integration of additional acquisitions into Socotecs corporate framework. The successful candidate will balance operational financial management with strategic integration leadership. This role will require periodic travel to support the divisions national operations.
Financial Leadership & Operations
- Oversee divisional financial operations across multiple locations with a national scope ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for a $180M revenue division
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations streamlining inherited processes and optimizing team structure for efficiency
- Maintain parallel financial reporting in legacy systems throughout 2026 while preparing for Deltek Vantagepoint ERP migration in 2027
- Partner closely with business and operations leaders to align financial strategy with divisional growth objectives
- Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards billing accuracy and robust financial controls
- Support order-to-cash performance improvements in partnership with corporate finance
- Maintain strong financial hygiene through accurate reconciliations documentation and audit readiness across multiple systems
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned by your manager
Financial Analysis & Planning
- Monitor ongoing project financial performance providing cost control analysis and profitability insights
- Deliver actionable financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making at the divisional level
- Lead divisional forecasting and budgeting processes collaborating with corporate finance on long-term planning
Integration & Systems Management
- In partnership with our Director of Integrations lead financial integration of recently acquired entities into Socotecs corporate framework developing repeatable integration processes to support continued external growth
- Collaborate with corporate finance team on chart of accounts mapping system configurations and process standardization for ERP migration
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes identifying opportunities to harmonize practices across acquired entities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- 7 years of progressive financial management experience with demonstrated leadership in project-based or multi-entity environments
- Proven track record managing finance teams and streamlining inherited operations
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles cost control practices and financial compliance
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy across complex organizational structures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel
- Willingness to travel periodically to support national operations
Preferred:
- CPA CMA or MBA designation
- M&A integration experience particularly with multi-system environments and ERP migrations
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system
- Background in infrastructure construction or TIC (Testing Inspection Certification) industries
- Experience developing repeatable integration playbooks and change management processes
- Familiarity with managing financial operations during organizational transitions and supporting inorganic growth initiatives
