The EMS Account Manager achieves success by managing all BGIS US ITSs EMS daily account activities by managing client relationships driving account growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality services or solutions maintaining client retention and identifying opportunities for business expansion.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual variable salary approximately $120 - $160K plus comission opportunities
- Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours increasing to 168 hours with tenure.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EMS Account Manager
Client Relationship Management
- Develop a deep understanding of client operations goals and challenges to tailor EMS solutions accordingly.
- Manage operational and energy efficiency measures.
Energy Efficiency
- Study customers portfolio based on energy efficiency grading.
- Recommend energy efficient opportunities via EMS operations.
Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. operations technical finance) to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables.
- Address and resolve client issues or escalations promptly.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate client records communications and project documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on account status performance metrics and sales forecasts.
Strategic Planning
- Contribute to account and business strategy planning based on market trends and client feedback.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent trades related training.
- Minimum 4 years appliable work experience in the EMS construction or facilities management industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including data relay exchange feedback and clarification.
- Ability to collaborate in a teamwork environment with internal and external contacts.
- Problem solving skills to identify root cause issues and take appropriate steps for resolution and teach others how to complete essential tasks.
- Time management focus to balance multiple competing priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Relationship building to maintain current clients and build connections with additional industry contacts.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to teamwork environment.
- Strong environmental health and safety mindset and ability to perform work in a safe manner.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Project required. Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Knowledge of CRM a plus.

- Skilled in working at heights and walking on uneven surfaces at client locations.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Current valid drivers license and ability to provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office with reimbursement.
