Job Summary
Rutland City Public Schools- Medicaid CoordinatorThe Medicaid Coordinator supports the Districts Special Education and Business Offices by managing Medicaid eligibility parental consent physician authorization billing documentation and compliance in accordance with Vermont Agency of Education requirements. The year-round position maintains student Medicaid files and databases coordinates and reviews monthly documentation logs processes Medicaid and IEP claims through required software verifies provider certifications and the federal exclusion list completes required audits and serves as a liaison between the Agency of Education the Director of Support Services and the Business Office. The Coordinator also provides Medicaid-related training and general office support as needed. This position requires a highly organized detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred candidates should hold an Associates Degree in Accounting Business or a related field and at least one year of experience with Special Education procedures in a school setting.
