About the area
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement leads initiatives focused on achievement of global engagement and the internationalisation strategy. The team works collaboratively across the University to progress international student recruitment research and industry engagement initiatives. It establishes strategic partnerships and maintains strong relationships with key education research public and private sector organisations worldwide.
The Global Learning and Sponsored Students team supports both international students studying at UWA and domestic students seeking international study experiences. The Global Learning and Sponsored Students team assists students with their transition to UWA acts as a point of contact and ensures appropriate support and advice is provided to students. The team is responsible for operationalising the Universitys strategic goals in Student Mobility managing inbound and outbound Student Exchange and Study Abroad programs as well as liaising together with Global Engagement Managers with key stakeholders in international sponsorship agencies and supporting their students.
