Job Summary
Introduction
Doctors leading doctors. Our client in the private hospital sector is seeking a Clinical Engagement Lead to drive the operational implementation of their Clinician Care Strategy. The role will focus on embedding key strategic pillars including Perception of Care Clinician Engagement Quality and Safety of Care Clinical Efficiency Clinical Governance Patient Safety and compassion-based training initiatives for healthcare professionals. The position also extends into oversight of Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) management systems as well as Health Informatics systems.
This role requires collaboration with divisional clinical and SHEQ managers to ensure the successful execution of the CoC strategic objectives across a broad healthcare network.
Inherent Requirements
Education
- MBChB degree (NQF Level 7)
- Registration with the HPCSA
Work Experience
- 35 years experience in a healthcare or clinical environment.
- Proven experience in training coaching and mentoring as well as providing IT system support to end users.
- Experience working on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Understanding of clinical care flow documentation standardisation SOPs policies and process requirements.
- Familiarity with international accreditation processes (advantageous).
- Knowledge of health-related legislation policies and procedures.
- Strong awareness of evolving healthcare strategies to address sector challenges and support sustainable patient-centred care.
