Senior Journey Specialist at the Johannesburg Support Office ( Could possibly turn to hybrid/flexible after the training period dependant on level of experience )
This role requires an experienced Africa travel specialist who can design and sell complete tailormade itineraries across Southern and East Africa. Candidates must have strong direct guest experience excellent communication skills and a proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings. Sales strength is essential especially around achieving targets managing KPIs and demonstrating strong commercial acumen. Numerical reasoning is also important due to the need to work confidently with pricing revenue metrics and booking systems.

- Direct handson guest or customerfacing experience
- Strong sales capability with a track record of exceeding targets
- Solid numerical reasoning and confidence working with financial information
- Extensive knowledge of Southern and East Africa travel
- Experience designing and selling bespoke itineraries
Profiles with at least 8 years in a similar tour operator or specialist travel role will be the strongest fit. The salary is market related and depends on experience. There is a good commission structure included after the probation period which will be discussed in more depth by the Journeys team if they are shortlisted for an interview.
