Job requirements
- Cloud Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Terraform to support the migration of applications to AWS and ensure the development implementation and maintenance of standardized cloud patterns.
- The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation application deployment processes and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Engineering & Migration
- Lead and support migration of on-prem or cloud-native applications to AWS.
- Design and implement scalable secure and reusable cloud patterns and best practices. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform following modular and versioncontrolled standards. Deployment Automation & CI/CD
- Build enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (GitHub Actions AWS Code pipelines AWS Code build etc.).
- Implement Blue/Green and Rolling Deployment strategies for zerodowntime releases. Automate dependency updates and address security vulnerabilities. DevSecOps & Frameworks
- Apply automated code refactoring and modernization
- Integrate and enforce DevSecOps practices security scans and compliance checks within pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build deployment and operational efficiency. Operational Excellence
- Contribute to cloud governance using tagging standards cost optimization security controls and reliability best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components deployment processes and cloud patterns.
- Work in agile teams and collaborate closely with developers architects and platform engineering teams.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 38 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including compute networking storage IAM and security.
- Proficiency in Terraform including writing reusable modules and managing state.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines automated builds and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of modern deployment strategies like Blue/Green Rolling or Canary deployments.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices. Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization
- Knowledge of cloud security standards and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to SRE practices and observability tooling. Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Passion for automation continuous improvement and modern engineering practices.
