Graphic Design Summer Internship
Job Summary:
Boomi is seeking a graphic designer to join their Corporate Marketing team for the summer to create and produce assets that will be used externally and internally. You will become familiar with Boomis brand guidelines and work closely with several stakeholders across marketing and the broader Boomi team.
What youll do:
- Design visuals for digital & print use with a focus on templated and standardized assets
- Help to maintain the creative request process (we use Asana)
- Reinforce brand guidelines across Boomi; works closely with other designers to maintain a visually on-brand range of collateral and overall presence
- Assist with design elements formatting and general branding cleanup for PowerPoint and other presentations with stakeholders across the organization
- Helps to organize migrate and maintain organized asset libraries (GDrive CC libraries Highspot)
The experience you bring:
- Must include a portfolio of work that best demonstrates your visual design abilities
- Strong understanding of layout visual design and typography for branding in marketing collateral
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator) Figma Canva and Google Slides and PowerPoint
- Understanding of how to work within brand guidelines

- Outstanding attention to detail and design
- Well-organized with requests files and archives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving; demonstrates initiative and innovation appropriate to the assignment and timeframe
- Drive to learn new design tools/techniques and evolving technology
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate of pay will range from CAD $17.40 - CAD $23 / Hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills experience and geographic location.
