Description of Work
This administrative position performs various clerical duties for the Charlotte Equipment Shop. Duties will be assisting office personnel in the processing of invoices purchase requisitions purchase orders and travel reimbursements ordering office supplies correspondence and filing answering multi-line phones initiating calls to vendors with questions regarding invoices updating equipment mileage/hours completing equipment work orders and entering fuel/lube data perform monthly safety audits assist with daily time entry perform bi-weekly and annual fuel/lube inventory reconcile purchase card transactions research vendors charge out fuel and lube scan documents and other duties deemed necessary by the Equipment Area Superintendent. Knowledge in state government related personnel policies procedures and programs. Must have the ability to work closely with others and possess good communication skills both orally and in writing. Must have computer experience including Word and Excel; experience with SAP/BEACON/ARIBA is preferred. Must have experience in record keeping with an emphasis on numbers. The selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Competencies:
Salary Grade: NC02: Salary Range: $31200 - $49340
Management prefers applicants with the following:
Experience in record keeping
Customer service experience including resolving customer issues
Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Access Word and Excel
Experience with letter writing using correct spelling punctuation and proofreading
Experience interpreting and/or explainingpolicies procedures and laws
Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Education and Experience of Requirement:
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
