Job Description:
The Administrative Nurse is the front-line supervisor over professional and direct care staff in the delivery of nursing services. As an Administrative Nurse you will:
Complete performances evaluations
Address work performance issues with assigned staff following facility procedure
Schedule nursing service staff and coordinate with direct care staff to assure scheduling meets the needs of the individuals being served
Provide coverage on the homes when needed; provide on call services on the night shift weekends and holidays
Provide emergency care when needed according to the scope of the RN
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday varied shifts/hours on-call required.
PAY RATE: $38.853/hour - $57.274/hour. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved. $3/hour facility differential pay and shift differential pay in addition to hourly pay rate.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience.
Ability to supervise LPNs and RNS according to their scope of practice.
Knowledge of scheduling practices ability to collaborate with internal and external providers.
Ability to uphold department to meet standards of care develop and conduct performance evaluations.
