The Position
As our Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of field instruments DCS and PLC systems handling process control deviations (including P&ID tuning fault diagnosis etc.) RCA faults in instrument and control systems and formulating corresponding actions as well as providing technical support for related control system projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the operational readiness of production equipment and related instruments and equipment and optimize costs.
- Plan and execute engineering projects (completing projects within the planned timeframe and budget meeting target quality standards).
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with local legislation and Envalior SHE requirements.
- Manage and verify that preventative maintenance work is performed and completed.
- Verify the availability of spare parts and components.
- Repair equipment malfunctions and investigate related root causes.
Requirements
- Min bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Automation etc
- Typically 35 years of relevant experience in industrial settings such as chemical plants or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems including DCS (Distributed Control Systems exposures with Yokogawa are highly preferred) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Familiarity with instrumentation devices such as pressure/temperature/flow/level sensors control valves transmitters and analyzers.
- Experience with calibration troubleshooting and maintenance of field instruments and electrical systems.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic project environments.
