Job Summary:
We are seeking a Road Mechanic / Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance diagnostics and advanced repairs on diesel engines heavy construction and specialty equipment at customer locations. This is a hands-on field-based role for a skilled mechanic looking to grow into service or operations management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site repairs on diesel engines hydraulic systems electrical systems and specialty equipment (generators pumps HVAC oil & gas).
• Troubleshot mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues with diverse equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance and operational readiness of customer equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs inspections and maintenance using fleet management software.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced safety-focused environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training preferred.
• 12 years of experience as a mechanic with diesel engines heavy construction or specialty equipment.
• Valid drivers license; CDL may be required in some locations (21 years old).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs bend crouch and work indoors/outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with aerial lifts large-scale generators pumps HVAC or oil/gas equipment.
• ASE or IFPS Certification.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) depending on location.
• Military experience with transferable mechanical skills.
