Summer Activity Camp: STEMInstructor (Magnolia Community Center)

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified Activity Camp Instructor STEM to lead youth STEM camps at Magnolia.

These camps serve youth ages 612.

Council: 150 Magnolia
Hourly Wage: $25.00$27.50
Status: Part-time Seasonal
Desired Start Date: June 22 2026

Schedule

Monday Friday
Shifts available:
- 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m.
- 9:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.

Summer Activity Camp: STEMInstructor Responsibilities:

Plan and lead safe age-appropriate STEM activities for youth ages 612
Facilitate hands-on projects in science technology engineering and math
Encourage curiosity problem-solving and teamwork
Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
Set up and clean up activity areas and materials
Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures

Summer Activity Camp:STEMInstructorQualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience teaching or leading STEM activities in a camp school or community setting
Experience working with children ages 612
Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
