We are on a growth journey now looking for our next star a passionate business developer in our Tents and Mobile Cooking category.
About the Position
As a Business Development Manager in the Tents and Mobile Cooking team you will identify new business opportunities with outdoor and camping customers build and maintain strong customer relationships and drive sales growth through strategic partnerships and market expansion. Reporting to the Head of Tents and Mobile Cooking you will collaborate cross-functionally to align initiatives with company goals and ensure a seamless journey from lead generation to deal closure across the Australian market.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential markets customer segments and growth opportunities
- Generate qualified leads through networking cold outreach and events
- Develop compelling proposals product range pitches and tailored solutions
- Create commercial proposals and secure all stakeholder approvals
- Negotiate incremental sales with new and existing customers; drive sell-in and sell-through
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to demand planning and go-to-market teams
- Achieve and exceed targets set by leadership collaborating closely with the broader sales team
- Manage retail space and product displays for Tents and Mobile Cooking
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers and partner
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and customer feedback to inform strategy
- Report regularly on pipeline activity KPIs and forecasts; drive multi-channel distribution growth
- Coordinate with Product Finance and Operations to ensure excellent delivery and satisfaction
- Regular travel to engage customers nationwide; effective planning is critical to success
