Job Description:

As a QC Microbiology Specialist youll support technical operations through microbiological testing data review investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Youll be part of a collaborative team that values precision innovation and safety - working on exciting new development projects and contributing to a culture of excellence. This is a shift based position consisting of 4 on/4 off days 8am-7pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review microbiological testing of raw materials in-process samples and final products.
  • Lead investigations into OOS/OOT results and support CAPA implementation
  • Conduct environmental and utility monitoring in cleanroom and controlled environments
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure inspection-readiness
  • Provide training in microbiological techniques and support team development
  • Drive process improvements and support validation and project work

Knowledge skills & experience:

  • Experience in a similar role in a GMP-regulated microbiology lab (pharma or biopharma)
  • Proficiency in environmental monitoring bioburden testing and microbial identification
  • Degree in a relevant life sciences subject (Microbiology preferred)
  • Ability to work according to shift pattern (4 on/4 off days 8am-7pm)
