CGI has a global Emerging Alliance Program to identify assess nurture develop and support new partnerships that can provide growth for CGI in fast growing technology and industry sectors. The program is run by the Global Alliances team led by David Tierno (VP Business Development Global Enablement) and Nina Carey-Hodges as Global Emerging Alliance Program Director.
Emerging alliances are managed by a Global Council composed of an Executive Sponsor Program Director Emerging Alliance Leads from each SBU and Emerging Alliance Manager(s). Emerging Alliance partners are initially identified assessed to become monitored (added to the watchlist) and if the business case supports the Emerging Alliance partner is nominated to be managed by an Emerging Alliance Manager.
The Emerging Alliance Manager (EAM) is responsible for the management reporting and development of (multiple) Managed Emerging Alliance partners.
Candidates proximate to a CGI office in the US will be considered. CGI utilizes a hybrid model and CGI partners should be prepared to work in a local CGI office or client site as needed.
As an Emerging Alliance Manager you will be responsible for managing global relationships with multiple Managed Emerging Alliance partners. Your responsibilities include:
. The Emerging Alliance Manager is a dedicated role (100%) time commitment.
. Develop Managed Emerging Alliance partners working with the Partner Development Managers (PDMs) and aligning with the strategic goals and direction of CGI and the Partner.
. To create and execute a growth partner business plan to increase CGI pipeline revenue capability and overall market adoption of Emerging Alliance partner aligned solutions.
. Collaborate with the Global Partner Development Manager (PDMs) to define and execute Go to Market (GTM) programs that define key offerings and focus on growth and innovation.
. To facilitate smooth working relationships between CGI and the Emerging Alliance partner organization managing the relationship at the global level whilst developing the CGI-Partner business relationships across CGI.
. Establish strong senior executive level relationships between CGI leaders and the partners executive team.
. Manage track and report regular pipeline opportunity capability and business reviews for each Managed Emerging Alliance and internal stakeholders across CGI.
. To evangelize Emerging Alliance solutions and value propositions within CGI and evangelize CGI expertise and value within the Emerging Alliance Partners and their clients.
. To support deal activity deal registration and business development activity with the Emerging Alliance to best position CGI.
. Support CGI members in upskilling and gaining certification in Emerging Alliance technology.
. Manage and maintain the Emerging Alliance Partner Portals.
. Manage escalations and facilitate resolution where necessary.
Bachelors degree and 5 years of directly related experience. Past experience leading global technology alliances. Excellent communications and organization skills. Prior experience developing and implementing a business plan that drove successful outcomes.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113400.00 - $282500.00.
