Seven years of experience in information technology project management or business analysis; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in information technology project management or business analysis; OR
An associates degree in information technology plus five years of experience in information technology project management or business analysis; OR
A bachelors degree plus five years of experience in information technology project management or business analysis; OR
A bachelors degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology computer science engineering mathematics or business analytics field plus four years of experience in information technology project management or business analysis; OR
A masters degree plus four years of the required specialized experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles.

Job Duties:
Serves as a subject matter expert in IT systems management for assigned DOTD business areas.
Assists management stakeholders with identifying defining and prioritizing IT application and project needs.
Supports IT application planning project coordination and requirements development for new or enhanced systems.
Works with the LaGov Support Team and other IT resources to ensure required application services are delivered.
Participates in the analysis development implementation and support of enterprise and general IT applications including LaGov.
Coordinates with internal and external IT partners to support system enhancements and continuity of mission-critical services.
Provides customer advocacy by facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT teams and following up on service outcomes.
Assists with software evaluation contractor coordination and IT governance processes as needed.
Performs other related duties including participation in emergency or disaster support activities when required.
