About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Executive Assistant who functions as a strategic partner rather than a traditional administrator. We are specifically looking for a seasoned professional who possesses the analytical depth to run alongside a fast-moving Founder.
The ideal candidate is a high-level gatekeeper who excels at managing complexity maintaining absolute confidentiality and making sharp judgment calls regarding investor relations and global communications. You will be the primary point of symmetry for the Founder ensuring his time is optimized and the organizations sensitive data is shielded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Triage & Investor Relations: Manage high-volume inbound communications. You must distinguish between investors and investment bankers screening and categorizing inquiries to ensure the Founder addresses critical priorities first.
- Complex Calendar Management: Orchestrate a global schedule across multiple time zones anticipating conflicts and proactively shifting priorities to align with business goals.
- Analytical Gatekeeping: Act as the first line of defense for sensitive information. You will be expected to use high-level judgment to escalate issues or resolve them independently.
- Organizational Strategy: Move beyond task execution to help organize the Founders professional life identifying gaps in efficiency and implementing systems to close them.
- Bilingual Communication: Draft edit and manage high-stakes correspondence in both English and Spanish ensuring the Founders voice is represented accurately to global stakeholders.
- Hybrid Coordination: Manage logistics for the Founders frequent visits to Medellín (810 weeks annually) and support the local leadership team as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience & Skills
- Seniority: 5 years of experience supporting C-level executives ideally within a global tech or investment-heavy environment.
- Analytical Judgment: Proven ability to synthesize complex information (e.g. distinguishing financial profiles) and make independent decisions.
- Bilingual Mastery: Absolute fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is non-negotiable.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of Google Workspace Slack and modern project management tools.
- Maturity & Discretion: A track record of handling highly confidential information with grace and silence.
Technical & Availability Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to El Poblado Medellín for the hybrid phase of the role (TueThu).
- Initial Remote Setup: Must have a professional home office setup with high-speed internet for the initial 34 month ramp-up period.
- Mindset: A proactive no-task-too-small-but-no-thought-too-big attitude. You should be comfortable asking clarifying questions rather than making assumptions.
