The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Water Cart Operators to join our team on a Rio Tinto mining site in the Pilbara WA. This is a casual FIFO role operating out of will be required to move between 84 Wheeler Water cart and Moxie depending on site requirements.
Note: This contract is for an initial 6-month period with the possibility of extension.
You are a reliable and safety-conscious operator who brings a strong work ethic and professional attitude. To be successful you will have:
- 12 years experience operating heavy vehicles with a clean driving record
- A current HR drivers licence (mandatory)
- Previous experience on a mining site (Rio Tinto induction desirable)
- Proven experience operating a Water Cart
- A valid OHS Construction Card (White Card)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to complete 12.5-hour shifts
- A strong commitment to safety and quality service delivery
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive adaptable attitude and dependable work ethic
- Full working rights in Australia
- Rio Inducted Preferred
Your Responsibilities
Operate the water cart and moxies safely and efficiently on-site
Conduct regular pre-start checks and report any faults or defects
Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members and supervisors
Uphold high safety standards and actively participate in site safety practices
